Morgan and Bob’s Nashville Wedding, Part I

Written by Mel McLellan

As I look through Morgan and Bob's wedding photos, I'm struck by how fortunate we are to not only get such wonderful couples, but that those couples have such wonderful families for us to interact with as well. Morgan and Bob's wedding was full of the kindest folks who made us feel welcomed like dear friends. It was an evening of laughter and excitement and an all-around spirit of celebration.
All of this was beautifully accentuated by the gorgeous design work and planning of the Sage Nines team. These ladies always impress me. Yes, this wedding was so gorgeous and heartfelt, it couldn't be contained in one blog post. Sooooo…here is Part I of Morgan and Bob's lovely day for your viewing pleasure. Part II soon to follow!

Vino and Swathi’s Nashville Engagement Session

Written by Mel McLellan

If you live in Tennessee, then you know how erratic our winter weather can be. A warm 65 degree afternoon one day, below freezing the next -- you never know what you're going to get. It just so happens that Swathi and Vino's trip to Nashville coincided with one of the most unbelievably cold days we've ever encountered in our fair city, but you would never know it by looking at the photos. These two were unbelievable relaxed and congenial for 25 degrees. If you're going to freeze while shooting, these are the folks to do it with! Swathi and Vino - Sean and I are so looking forward to your wedding and for this girl who is so tired of winter at this point, the fact that it's going to take place in balmy August is feeling like a huge bonus! ;) Nashville_Engagement_Photography Nashville_Engagement_Session Nashville_Engagement_Photographers Nashville_Engagement_Photography Nashville_Engagement_Photographer

Rashmi and Shreyas’ New Orleans Reception

Written by Mel McLellan

It's a funny thing how frequent travel can make so many places feel almost like a second home. You know your way around town and can head straight to your favorite restaurants and shops. You rest while you're there because you've seen the sights and are no longer in a rush to get around to everything during your stay.

New Orleans has become one of those places for us and we were so happy that Rashmi and Shreyas gave us an excuse to go visit the familiar and kick back a bit while capturing their beautiful night. :)
The JW Marriott was the perfect scene setter.

An LSU cake for Shreyas, with a little sprinkling of Auburn pride representing in the crowd for Rashmi.

And speaking of football, I'm pretty sure Rashmi has already won wife of the year for putting this up for Shreyas so that he wouldn't miss the big game.

From what I understand, it was a very good night for the Saints. ;)
