Randomness….

Written by Mel McLellan

It's been a bit of a slow week here at the McLellan house. We've had a few consultations, worked on print orders, processed a couple of engagement sessions - the same ol' yada-ya. I've been the ultimate procrastinator this week - just trying slow down somewhat before the wedding rush begins this weekend! We'll be at Bonnie and Scott's wedding in Fayetteville, TN this weekend. I can't believe it's already here! So begins a long string of weddings and engagement sessions so there will be no need for boring posts like this one for quite some time! :)

On a totally different note, is anyone else hooked on Netflix? We've become obsessed (the projection system we've incurred doesn't help matters) and my only problem is finding a way to get really good recommendations from the thing. There is rarely a movie that I can't say that I at least kind of liked so I'm just way too vague for the system. Ah well. Enough rambling! Sean will ramble next time- it's much more entertaining. :)

And in the spirit of randomness, here is a picture of our cat. Meet Wellington - he likes to sleep in wierd places.

Good night all!

Andrea and Josh – Engaged!

Written by Mel McLellan

Last night we came straight from Knoxville to the Factory in Franklin for Andrea and Josh's engagement session. They're a really fun couple and laughed through the entire shoot - in part I think because they are totally unaccustomed to pda. :) They also did really great bearing with me through my rainman-like obsession with saying "fabulous" - it was the word of the day. Do you ever have that happen where you can't stop saying one word - maybe it's just me. Well yesterday everything was fabulous! Anyhow, as always, here are my personal favorites -

You guys were great! See you soon for the wedding!

Hello Again!

Written by Mel McLellan

We just got in from our weekend East Tennessee. It was so good to see old friends again and spend some time with my "little" brother Ryan. Mr. Houston was pleased with his drawing so I can breathe easily again. :) In all it was a fun and relaxing weekend which is why it's so odd that we always come back from those so tired! I feel like I could sleep for a week! Late nights gabbing away with my old roommate Opal probably didn't help the situation. ;) Anyway, we didn't take many pictures while we were out that way but we did go to see my brother's band play on Friday night and I took the camera along for that. Their name is Shoot For Tomorrow and I'm really liking the new stuff they're coming out with now. And now for a few of my dabblings in concert photography -
