Merry Christmas!!

Written by Mel McLellan

Merry Christmas Everyone! Thank you all so much for the part you've played in our lives this year. We truly appreciate each and every one of you and this little ol' blog doesn't even begin to do our thanks to you justice! We hope you all have a wonderful time with friends and family over the Christmas holidays!

On a more business-ish note, we'll be taking off from work through January 2nd to spend some time together and with our loved ones. We're excited to see you all again in the new year!

I'll close with the infamous George Jone's rocking chair. Oh yes - we are so Nashville! ;)

Much love,
Mel and Sean

Franklin, TN “Wed” Session – Marie and Jason

Written by Mel McLellan

On Tuesday we had the pleasure of doing a "Wed" Session with Marie and Jason. Wed Sessions take place after the wedding and typically involve your wedding attire. It's a relaxed, fun, and fabulous way to get great portraits as a couple without the pressures of the wedding day. You also have the option of more locations than your wedding day timeline might allow. These guys chose the Franklin Square because of their love for history and the sentimental tie of many dates in the district. Jason took to our relaxed approach to portraiture like a fish to water and kept us all laughing through the entire session! Having only met Marie previously, it was great to get to see them together and how she lights up in his presence. :) They are such a great couple.

You know the drill - here's the sneak peek - more to follow soon!

Franklin, TN Engagement Session – Sam and Magdalena

Written by Mel McLellan

Sam and Magdalena are getting married this Saturday and they will be the first wedding to be held at the Westhaven Clubhouse. What a sweet gig for us that we just have to walk down the street to shoot their wedding! Because they just arrived from out of town, we met them for the first time a couple of days ago and shot their engagement pictures. Man, we are in soooo much trouble! This couple cannot take a bad picture! They were so great - I'm sure they thought a Westhaven engagement session would involve the fountain and the lovely homes but instead we dragged them into the construction site out front. :) There is no possible better backdrop than the dirt and weeds - don't you think?

Congrats Guys! See you Saturday!
