Megan and Nick's Wedding – The Parthenon in Nashville

We're counting down the days to the little man's arrival.  For my part, I would be totally fine with it if he just came on and got here!  Fear of labor?  No sir - fear of staying in this pregnant state any longer is waaaay worse!  Less than three weeks to go!  Hopefully...  Obviously, we're in wind-down mode right now which means less readily accessible blog material as well as less time for blogging period.  We've been absent from blog world for too long so to make it up to you, here are a TON of images from Megan and Nick's beautiful wedding!  This was our first wedding at the Parthenon and we were interested in shooting there because so many had said that it was an incredibly difficult location to light.  Personally, I loved it!  I love the grandeur of the place and Megan and Nick's sense of style was especially well suited for the location.  What a great wedding!  Hope you enjoy it! :o)

Nashville Engagement Photographers – Opal and Brad

Opal was my roommate in college and I'm so excited to get to photograph her wedding next year!  She and Brad are precious and we had a wonderful time shooting their engagement session a few days back!  Op is also a photographer so she's extra patient and indulgent with my whims - like standing very still while we shot over and over again to get just the right amount of red leaves. :o)

AltF, Las Vegas, and Channeling the Inner Redneck…

When we saw John and Dalisa this past summer, John mentioned that he has always wanted to photograph a pregnant bride.  Knowing John's affinity for the bizarre, I asked "so are we talking totally redneck/white trash kind of pregnant bride?"  Yes and more was the answer! :o)  Sean and I promptly volunteered to be John's guinea pigs for his latest vision.  We are Tennesseans after all and who knows the ways of the redneck better??
