We have been dying to show you Jessica and Jason’s wedding that we photographed back in February!  We just had to wait until the press came out with it first and it’s finally here!  We had expected a February wedding to be freezing but in a total fluke, it warmed up to something like the 60’s for their wedding day and the weather was sublime.  CJ’s Off the Square was the perfect place for this intimate wedding and Amy and her crew were spectacular hosts!  It was such a sweet, laid-back wedding with family and close friends.

Sean and I have not exactly been the best at finding time to submit to magazines which is why it was so nice to have Jessica’s lovely publicist do it for us! :o)  We’re super excited to have their wedding featured in this season’s In Style Weddings!  You can find them in the “Celebrity Weddings” section.  We’ll be getting more from their day up soon but for now, go pick up a copy of In Style and check them out!

On a side note, many of you have seen the feature already and sent us the sweetest emails.  Thank you so much for sharing in our excitement over our first published work! :o)

First of all, how cool is it that their names are almost the same but with a slight, cool twist?  I love it when stuff like that happens! :o)  We photographed these guys’ wedding last weekend and I’m so glad that we got to be a part of their day.  When you meet them, it’s obvious that they’re really interesting people but they just get more interesting and more beautiful the more you get to know them.  Thanks for letting us into your lives and trusting us with your memories guys!  We wish you all the best!

Now that the wedding day is behind us and the big reveal has occurred, you’ve really got to get an up close and personal looks at Megan’s dress!  It’s so much fun and I’m so glad to finally get to share her bridal session with you all!  Here are a few of my favorites…

The dress made it through the session without a speck, but getting this shot brought it dangerously close to some serious muddage. (For those who are wondering, adding “age” to the end of words is my newest favorite descriptive device.  Sean prefers “ocity.”  For example: “Megan’s dress was dangerously close to some serious mudocity.”  And now you know – we are weird.)

This is my favorite time of day at the Parthenon.  The lines are so great!

So I’ve realized that all of my favorites are ones where Megan looks way serious but she’s got such a strong, sultry look doesn’t she?  This one is here to show you that she’s also a super sweet person and I just like it too. :o)

This is my favorite Centennial Park garden image ever!  You have to climb through the flowers and plant the dress in the mulch to get it but it’s so worth it!

Thanks for looking! :o)
