This past weekend we were in South Carolina for Amber and Tyler’s wedding. These guys have been dating for 6 years and Amber was positively beside herself to be getting married! :o) In fact, she was so cute about it, I’m posting a couple of extra images.

See what I mean? In just about every ceremony photo she has some variation of this giddy look. So cute!

When we first met these guys, they were quick to point out that they were having a beach wedding but they weren’t your big time “wedding-y” types and they hated the typical beach photos. That’s why I have to post this one. The groomsmen were determined that we had to do a jumping shot and I have to admit, this one is hilarious, if for no other reason than the bride got the most air. :o)

And now for one of my favorites! East Coast beaches are so different from what we think of as “the beach” because they have all of these great trees that run almost completely to the water. The light was coming through them so nicely and we just had to capture some of that South Carolina flavor…

This past weekend was another wonderful weekend off! I could totally get used to this! I do have to say though that I’m so excited about this weekend’s wedding with Amber and Tyler! We’re heading out to Hunting Beach in South Carolina and it should be awesome!

In the meantime, as promised: Marlena and Tim’s Us Session. This is one of my favorite Us Sessions to date! Savannah is our kind of town – rustic and colorful all in one. The fact that Marlena and Tim can’t take a bad picture is just bonus! :o)

I simply adore spanish moss! Think we can get it to grow in TN?

We have a couple of weeks off from shooting weddings but I still wanted to share something with you guys so I started thinking through our previous weddings and shoots. It then occurred to me that we never did a feature post for Marlena and Tim’s wedding last November! They are such a sweet, cute couple and their wedding was too much fun so it’s really just too bad you’ve not seen these already! They were married at the Westin Hotel in Savannah and it all couldn’t have gone more perfectly. We did a day after shoot with them in Savannah’s historic district that I’ll have to post later but here is a little recap of their fabulous day…
