This week we photographed the wedding of Amy and Dominic. They are such a sweet and beautiful couple! Their wedding was held at Oaklands Historic House and Museum in Murfreesboro, TN. It's a gorgeous house and thankfully with tons of great shaded places for photos! :)
Getting ready at the Carriage Lane Inn...
Thanks to Jenna Fletcher of Regal Planning for helping us with all of the details of the day!
I love asking kids to run for it! You just never know what they're going to do. :)
They had such a good-looking wedding party didn't they? You all were so great to work with! Thank you!
It was a beautiful ceremony performed by Pastor David Farris.
The little ones mistook the flower petals on the ground for a mess and set about cleaning them up all through the ceremony. :)
The carriage driver was a woman named Carolyn who has got to be the sweetest woman in the world!
First Dance...
The cakes were from Cakes by Pat and they were great!
Who knew you could do such fun things with fruit?? :) Catering was done by Chef Christopher and his team. Truly, truly this man makes the best beef tenderloin I've ever tasted in my entire life! It was awesome!
Dominic serenades his new bride with a little help from DJ Ralph (Middle TN DJ Services) and the guys...
You guys were so great - thank you so much! We had a wonderful time with everyone and we can't wait for you to see the rest of your pictures!
Yesterday we went out to Scarritt Bennett do to a bridal session with Catherine. I just have to tell you - we are smokin' hot photographers! These photos are amazing! Ok, so really Catherine is the one who is smokin' and such a natural in front of the camera! This girl can spontaneously giggle better than anyone I've ever seen in my life - it was fabulous! Thanks for making us look so good Catherine! We can't wait for your wedding. :)
This week's wedding was Stephanie and Andy's. Their wedding was so beautiful! Everything was centered around an "old south" theme which I absolutely love. From the old quilts, to the vintage get-away truck, right down to the mason jars - every detail was creatively planned out. The day was unseasonably warm and we all felt like we were going to melt but the weather was beautiful so you just can't complain! Here are some of our favorites from the day:
The girls preparing for the ceremony...
Andy and his mom tearing up on each other. I think he cried from the moment he saw Stephanie until they walked back up the aisle together - it was so sweet! I love it when the groom cries. :)
It was a beautiful ceremony at Holland Park in Dickson, TN
The happy couple!
Sean caught this one of Stephanie's little brother during the family pictures. Is he cute or what??
I don't think I can possibly express to you how much I love this truck!
The reception was held at a friends house out in the backyard...
True southern fixins! Bottled Cokes, Moon Pies, Cracker Jacks, and Pink Lemonade. Of course, what true southern experience would be complete without a salute to the home team! :)
Stephanie's mom and dad. This woman is on the go more than anyone I've ever seen in my life!
And away they went...
It was such a beautiful evening! Congratulations to you both! :)
