Hendersonville, TN Wedding – Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club

Written by Mel McLellan

Holly and Dustin were married on Saturday and man was it hot! Holly was so cute - she packed one of those hand-held electric fans for outside - a funny little hot pink one with neon green fan blades that made a buzzing noise like a crazed bee. :) We were all boiling out there in the heat but don't they look great? See Holly, I told you all of the "glistening" wouldn't show! ;) Thanks for braving the weather with us guys! We had a wonderful time with you both and we wish you all the best! Happy 4th everyone! :) - Mel

Nashville, TN Wedding – Scarritt Bennett and The Sheraton

Written by Mel McLellan

So, going back a few days from our last post, Friday was Ariana and Bart's big day! We had so much fun with them at their engagement session so we knew that we would love their wedding! Ariana was radiant and Bart and his guys were so handsome in their uniforms! It feels like we're at Scarritt every few weeks nowadays and we were there again for their wedding with a reception to follow in the Pinnacle at the Sheraton. The Pinnacle is a revolving restaurant on the 26th floor (or some high number like that). The elevators there go straight up in an open space in the lobby - I am proud to say we made it up without having to back into the elevators for fear of heights this time! :) It's not usually a fear of ours but the elevators bevel out to suspend you over the drop at you fly to the top and dang if those things don't move fast!

Anyway, have a look at this lovely couple:

Congrats you guys! We so enjoyed you all and we can't wait to see you again! :)

Weddings the Bridal Show

Written by Mel McLellan

Well let's see...from Monday to Sunday Sean and I clocked in 120 hours this past week so my oh my did we sleep in today! There was so much to be done in preparation for the bridal show but in the end, I think it was all worth it. Thank you to everyone who came by to see us on Sunday! We had a great time and really enjoyed meeting you all!

Here are some pictures of our snazzy booth:

We could not have made this happen without Sean's grandparents! Jim and Elaine built those fabulous walls for us and then came up with us early on Sunday morning to get it all set up. Aren't they amazing?? Thank you guys soooo much!

Anna and Chris are one of our couples and they came by to see us. At their engagement session we had joked about how all of our UT grooms got UT groom's cakes and stood by them making the #1 gesture so Chris asked if we could take his picture with the French Confection cake. Hilarious! Well played Chris, well played!

Amber and Daniel also stopped by and because we used their images for both canvas prints, we lovingly dubbed our booth "The Amber and Daniel Shrine". :)

And lastly, yours truly with the Dove crew - Peter, Whitney, and Kara (sorry if I just totally misspelled your name!). This is of course the only face we know how to do for personal posts so they obliged and joined in.

Hope everyone had fun! If you requested information from us, you should have received it this evening so let us know if you can't find it in your inbox. I'm going to sleep now!
