Hanna look! It's finally up! ;0) (So many blog posts to get to you fine folks in the coming weeks!)
We went out with these gorgeous people last week for their engagement session and it was a blast! I love that we have clients whom we love spending time with!
Now Hanna and Bobby's post wouldn't be complete without featuring their furbaby - Bella - isn't she a mess?? Too cute! :0)
We got together just a little before sunset and then carried the session into the night which is always a fun change for us. The Shelby Street bridge in downtown Nashville is always a great spot for night images!
We cannot wait for the wedding next summer! Thanks Hanna and Bobby for being so wonderful and thanks everyone for looking! :0)
I had big plans to post this announcement just as soon as we got home from NYC last night but it sold out before we even got into Nashville - in less than one minute to be exact! All we can say is WOW and THANK YOU to everyone who signed up! We're really looking forward to meeting you all and we promise to work very hard to make this well worth your while!
Now for those of you who just like to keep up with what we're up to (and thanks for that too by the way!), here's the low-down...
We are excited to announce that we'll be doing a shooting workshop at Pictage's Partner Conference 2009 in New Orleans! The conference is right around the corner so if you haven't already signed up, now is the time!
For more information on our workshop, you can find us on the Pictage website here or check out the details below...
Sean and Mel have photographed in some really beautiful locations. They've also photographed in some really, really not-so-beautiful locations, but one thing remains the same: beautiful imagery for their clients is a must! Jonathan Swift said "vision is the art of seeing that which is invisible to others." Sean and Mel will take you around the French Quarter and show you how they have learned to see the invisible and produce beautiful imagery no matter where they find themselves. They'll also cover working with the light, and illustrate how they maximize their time on a wedding day to create the greatest variety possible in quality imagery for their couple!
Basically we're going to take what we've been speaking about recently and put it into practice on the streets of New Orleans! It should be really fun and we're excited to share with all of you! The dates of the conference are November 2-5 and our time slot is on Wednesday the 4th, 2-4pm.
Whether we see you in our shooting workshop or not, we hope to see you in New Orleans! If you see us first, please come say hi!
Have I mentioned that I love period weddings? LOVE THEM. Julie and Craig are probably the cutest retro couple we've ever encountered and their wedding promised to be spectacular! The event took place at historic Oaklawn in Spring Hill and what a great place for a wedding! The place is covered in huge shade trees and is set right in the middle of a sprawling field - such a gorgeous, casual setting! It got surprisingly cold on Saturday and we feared rain but as you can see, the sun broke through in the most perfect way and as for the cold, well - it just gave Julie an excuse to wear that great vintage mink! :0) Hope you enjoy this little glimpse into their day!
