Ting and Josh – A New York City Wedding
You may remember Josh and Ting from the trip we took with them to Iceland earlier this year. This past weekend was their wedding celebration extravaganza in NYC and we were thrilled to be there and take part! These guys did it right – marriage ceremony in February, amazing trip and photo shoot in June, and two days of celebration with friends and family in September — they got married all year long! :0)
While we were in town, we took these guys around for a little NYC couple’s shoot and here are a few of our favorites:
Josh and Ting actually got married at the Apple flagship store in NYC on Valentine’s day. I was very very pregnant at the time and unable to make the trip so I’m so glad Sean was able to get out late with them one night and get fun images like this to commemorate their ceremony. :0)
Ting and Josh – we miss you guys already! Come see us in Tennessee very soon! — Or we could come back to New York – you know, twist our arm. ;0) Congratulations to you both! We heart you guys!
Rory and Amanda – A Nashville Aerial Wedding
Rory and Amanda’s wedding took place last Sunday at Aerial in downtown Nashville. These guys are such sweet, down to earth, and impressive people! It was such a pleasure to be their photographers and document their love. Their ceremony was one of the sweetest ones I’ve ever seen and as you know, this ain’t our first rodeo! Everything was, in a word, beautiful. Thanks so much for letting us take part in your amazing day guys! We hope enjoy the sneak peek!

This is Us Thursday – Little Man Meets Real Food
And on Thursday for once in a very long while at that! :0)
While we were in Colorado, Seven’s interest in food hit an all-time high. He was reaching for absolutely everything and since he was turning 6 months old the week we got home, we took the hint that he’s ready for real food. We got the camera and video camera ready, put the high chair in nice light (because you know, what kind of photographer parents would we be if we didn’t stage our baby’s first moments in nice light?), and readied the rice cereal. Seven was so excited for real food that he could eat his chair.
Bib on, spoonful of rice mush up, and he could NOT wait!
Then the rice cereal hit the lips and…
….
See that face? That is how a baby says “Seriously, most anti-climactical moment of my life ya’ll. If this is real food, I’ll stay a boob-man forever thank you.”
Well, I can’t say I blame him. I don’t really like the idea of rice mush either. Maybe tomorrow we’ll try green peas and hey, if nothing else works, there’s always the 1-year prize of a great big cake all to his little baby self! Now that’s what Mommy calls real food. :0)
Thanks for visiting! Have a wonderful day!
