Bonnie’s Bridal Session

Written by Mel McLellan

On Friday we went out with Bonnie and some of her family to shoot her bridals before the wedding day. The weather was threatening to storm but luckily it held out for us and even cooled down the miserable heat! Has anyone else been hiding inside over the past couple of weeks? Sean and I don't care much for extreme heat - in fact, I would say as far as weather is concerned, we just prefer perfect. :) Anyway, here are a few from our session with the beautiful Bonnie:

I think I've developed some sort of strange obsession with railroad tracks. I'm just drawn to them so good thing Bonnie was too! :)

Thanks Bonnie! We enjoyed seeing all of you again!

Nate’s Senior Session

Written by Mel McLellan

On Tuesday night we had our first guy senior session. We've photographed for a few senior girls but Nate was our boy guinnea pig. Thanks for being such a good sport Nate. :) We hope you like your photos!

We'd love to start doing more senior sessions so if you know of any upcoming high school seniors out there, please tell them about us! We're trying to put together a strong senior portfolio in our portrait work and we'll be waving the session fee for all seniors who call within the next few months. So give us a call and try us out! The new portrait site will be coming soon as a separate entity from the wedding site - be looking for that in the coming weeks.

For Audrey and Cake, it was love at first bite…

Last week Little Miss Audrey Madison turned 1 year old! In honor of the occassion, we had a little birthday party on Saturday and here are a few fun pictures from the big event. :)

Here's the big girl feeding herself lunch!

The cake and birthday bear from Auntie ShayShay (Shannon and I have been ceremoniously dubbed "The Aunties")

I've never seen a baby take to cake like Audrey - this girl has a long life of chocolate cravings ahead of her. :)

Happy Birthday Audrey!

Love,
Auntie Mel-Mel :)
