Brentwood, TN Wedding – Emily and Johnny

Written by Mel McLellan

Ok so we're going to be trying something new and it all starts with the blog. Sean and I have decided to work some extra magic on your photos which means more time, which means more of a process, which means a different method for the blog images. Starting today we'll be posting just one image from every shoot - that's right - only one! But wait dear readers, there's more! A few weeks after the single teaser image is posted, we'll be posting teaser galleries, soon to be followed by the real deal in its entirety after the couple has come in for their private viewing. Change is in the wind but change is good! Hopefully you'll enjoy the build up to the grand openings with us as we let you in on a little more here and there throughout the process.

Without further adieu, a big thank you Emily and Johnny for making us a part of their wedding day! They were married over the weekend in a candlelight ceremony at the Oak Hill Assembly of God followed by a reception at Mere-Bulles Restaurant. What an awesome group! You all were so much fun and so great to work with. This is just a tiny taste of all of the awesome images we got of you good lookin' people and by tiny, I mean if you think this is good, wait until you see the rest! :P

Emily - our beautiful bride:

Blessings to you both Emily and Johnny! We wish you a long and full life together.

Hooray for new toys!

Our friend Aspen very kindly agreed to step back into her wedding dress and be our model last night so that we could try out our new equipment. I know Sean already showed you some of my *lovely* pictures with the new effects but we're just so excited about these techniques that I have to share more! Here are a couple from our trial run:

Thanks for being such a great sport Aspen! It's always so different photographing good friends - and by different I mean it's intimidating, no matter how many times you do it! :)

So what do you think guys? We would love to hear your feedback on these new developments!

Merry Christmas Everybody!

Happy Birthday Melanie!

Written by Sean McLellan

Yesterday was Melanie's birthday. We went to Buca Di Beppo (Where I ate a gigantic pizza. It was awesome.) and then went to see Will Ferrell's new movie, Stranger Than Fiction. Good movie, but not quite what you'd expect from Will Ferrell.

Lately, we've been getting a lot of new camera equipment and learning new things day and night to make your photos that much better! Mel said she'd model for me while I tried one of our new L lenses out. Here she is with her model face on.

Looking very forward to showing you some of the new things we've been working on... That's all for now.
