We had a fantastic time at the DWF convention this year.  It was great to see all of our photographer friends from all over the world, we miss you already!  It was also great to meet many new faces.

I’m ridiculously proud of my beautiful wife right now:  Mel was awarded 2008 DWF/Finao Photographer of the Year! They even gave her a snazzy crystal trophy, which I have photographed for your viewing pleasure.

    I did a goggle search to see if any other winners posted their win on their blog. I am pleasantly surprised to see a trophy is included! Congrats on your image! I am glad I didn’t have to compete against that image, or I might not have won!

    you were in it just for the crystal trophy… its always about the trophies! I’m not sure which emotion is stronger right now… how proud I am of you Mel… or how jealous I am of your trophy. Ugh… you’re probably polishing it right now aren’t you?!? ;) All I have is a first place Halloween costume contest trophy from 1991… and its not even crystal!
