Ensworth Senior Photography – Kelsey!
Kelsey is one hard lady to catch! She’s been in and out all summer working as a camp counselor for small girls but we were able to squeeze in a shoot last week, just before she left again. Working with kids is her true passion and you can tell in the way she talks about them and by the umpteen friendship bracelets the girls made for her that she keeps tied to her wrists. :o) Kelsey has been attending Ensworth since the 2nd grade so the school itself holds a lot of sentimental value. That’s why we knew right away that it would be the perfect place for her shoot! I have to say, this high school puts our high school to shame! What a pretty place! Here are a few from our time together. Hope you enjoy them! :o)
WPPI 8×10 Competition Win!
Sean is always so good at picking out my best images and examining them carefully to make sure they’re just right for print. I have to say, it is largely because of him that I’ve won anything at all! He’s always so excited, just as if it were his own win, and makes a big fuss over it – always totally floored that I’m not doing a huge victory dance. What can I say? He’s so much more competitive than me. :o)
Well today I am proud to announce that Sean not only took 1st place in the “Bride and Groom Together” category, he did it with a score of 90, which is absolutely HUGE! I’m so excited for him and the win is so well-deserved! Congratulations my love! I might even do a victory dance for you! :o)
In case you’d like to see the winning image, here it is:
Asheville, NC Wedding at Claxton Farms
I’m a sucker for “old south” weddings! I just love them and Tara and Andrew put so much work into the little details of their day that I just had to share! Claxton Farm was a gorgeous setting for the event! The old barn, the open field, the beautiful mountains gracing the background – it was serene! Tara and Andrew, thank you so much for inviting us in to document your life and this momentous occasion! :o)
Let’s not forget our gorgeous couple of course!
Thanks for looking! :o)
