Westhaven Portrait Session – Lindsey and BJ
Wednesday’s portrait session was with Lindsey and BJ. They live here in Westhaven and heard of us through the community network. They’re getting married next year so we took them out for an engagement session in the neighborhood. They are a really sweet couple and they have the funniest dog! :) Here’s the sneak peek:
This one is my favorite.

We hiked back into the woods on the ridge for part of the session. It was a bit muddy but the trees were so beautiful that it was worth it!

Lindsey and BJ and their new house…

The baby came out for a few…

Just before dark we grabbed this one as the session was wrapping up. You just can’t beat our “front yard”.

Thanks for letting us photograph for you Lindsey and BJ. :) We look forward to seeing you around!

Franklin, TN Portrait Session – Jill and David Take 2
Yesterday was Jill and David’s fall session. You might remember them from the summer – we’re doing a session for each season. This time we went up to the Natchez Trace Parkway and ran around. It was a beautiful day and the leaves looked great – they’re not a bad lookin’ couple either. ;) Here they are:

Thanks for joining us once again guys! See you again in December! :)

Montgomery Bell State Park Engagment Session
Marlena and Tim are a great couple! They have been together since high school and still have a wonderful playfulness to their relationship. When we mentioned that the best sessions involve activities you can do together and set the location as their hometown park, they planned an entire evening of things to do all over the grounds. We walked through creekbeds, played on the playground, hung out by the lake, had a picnic under a tree, and ended the evening with pumpkin carving. :) As you can see, they made our job easy –

It was very overcast for most of the evening but the sun broke through just a little for a brief moment…

Leaves on the ground is so overrated – water is in! ;)

I love the way her leg kicks up when she laughs!

and now for the carving of the great pumpkin…

Thanks guys! :)
