We’re broadcasting this week from the beach where we’re taking a much needed vacation! It’s been so nice to have a chance to just relax and get rested up before wedding season begins. While we’ve been down here these last few days, Sean got word that he received 3rd place in the Wedding Photojournalist Association’s international competition for the “Speeches and Toasting” category. I’m so proud of him! He is now the first photographer in all of TN to win a Top 3 award on WPJA! :) You can find the link to his award winning image here.

We also want to send out a huge congratulations to our dear friends Jennay and Drew who just gave birth to little Anthony! We’re so excited to see him and we love you guys!! A few more images from Jennay’s maternity session a few weeks back are here. The second to last is my favorite – that’s the Jennifer we know and love. ;)

There’s great news all around! We hope you are all having a wonderful week! When we get home, we’ll post some photos from our trip and get the blog caught up in general so stay tuned!

So we were back at Scarritt Bennett yesterday but this time it was for Donna’s bridal session. Ah! She was lovely! I love the old Hollywood, vintage inspired look and she pulls it off so well. Here is one super-fly image from Sean:

Yesterday was the day for Danielle’s bridal session. Danielle and I have known each other since the 5th grade when I first moved to the Franklin area from Chattanooga. She’s one of my oldest friends and we’re so excited to have the opportunity to take part in her wedding day! Here’s an image I absolutely love from our session!
