How to Enjoy Disney World with Multiple Small Kids in Tow
Seven and I were just hanging out in the kitchen the other day when he randomly said, “I think I’m about ready to go back to Disney World.”
Me too, buddy. Me too.
Before I had kids, I would have told you it would be crazy to attempt Disney with small children. My plan was to wait it out until we were past the stroller phase at least. But now here we are with 4 kids that are all pretty stroller-worthy, by Disney-trekking standards at least, and we’ve done Disney World three times with three, and then four, little ones.
And you know what? I don’t feel crazy for having done it. In fact, it’s been great!
I do think there are a few factors that can make or break your Disney-with-toddlers experience though. I’d like to share my tips and experience with you all today in hope that it might help you make your own Disney trip awesome.
What to Pack for a Day in Disney Parks with Small Children
Not to brag, but I think I’ve got packing for a day inside Disney World down to a fine science.
Admittedly, I obsess a little over what to pack to prepare for the kids when on trips. I’m pretty sure it’s what half of my travel posts are about. I just don’t like being somewhere, trying to have a good time, and not have what we need.
Well, multiple Disney trips with multiple children have taught us a few things. Our park days are fun and leisurely for the most part. We have everything we need and then some, but we don’t feel loaded down.
I’ll go into details later on how we structure our trips in general to create a (mostly) stress-free experience (because come on, nothing with kids is TOTALLY stress-free). Right now though, let’s dig into specifically what to pack for going into the parks. I’ve obsessed so you don’t have to! ;) Continue Reading
How to create an amazing bioluminescent bay experience on Vieques island, Puerto Rico
So I told you in my Puerto Rico Girls’ Trip post that the Bio Bay on Vieques Island is amazing – like, AH-MAZING.
The island itself is actually quite the little gem with incredible beaches, wild horses just roaming freely everywhere and an awesome laid back beach culture.
It’s true.
I wouldn’t lie to you about this.
Here’s what’s also true: getting there is a real pain in rear.
It takes a lot of preparation and a little luck to make it, but I’m going to help you navigate all of that as best I can.
Here goes… Continue Reading
