We love photographing multiple couples within the same family and that’s why we were so excited to have Lauren and Ayal book us for their wedding – in addition to the fact that they’re awesome of course. :0)  We photographed Lauren’s brother and sister-in-law’s wedding earlier this year and we just fell in love with their family!  This past weekend, we flew up to Washington D.C. for Lauren and Ayal’s engagement session.  We spent the afternoon running around the city, and then closed out the evening with Moroccan food and YouTube videos – the perfect day right? :0)

Lauren and Ayal – thank you so much for hosting us in D.C.!  We had the best time with you guys and can’t wait to see you again in March!  Hope you enjoy the preview!  MANY more to come! :0)

Amanda wanted an engagement session with Old South flair so we traipsed around the countryside to find the perfect southern settings!  I love shooting in urban areas but rural shoots conjure up reminiscences from my childhood which makes them so fun and nostalgic!  Amanda and Rory, you guys were great!  Thanks so much!  Can’t wait for your wedding! :0)

We met up with Ally and Glaydon and their sweet dog Brady last week for their engagement session.  Having a dog running through the fields after his ball as you move from place to place just sets such a laid-back and comfy tone to a session!  Add to that a gorgeous couple, the beautiful skies, perfect temperatures, and lush greenery and you’ve got the perfect shoot!  Thanks Ally and Glaydon! :0)
