Brianne and Dan are just adorable and they think they’re terrible in front of the camera but they’re so wrong! We had the best time with them yesterday and we’re so excited about the resulting images! There are way too many great ones to choose from but I had to share this one because this is where it all started. Dan proposed to Brianne at Percy Warner Park. There is one entrance to the park that has roughly 5 flights of old stone steps ascending the sloping hillside. For his proposal, Dan covered every single flight of stairs in candles! Can you even imagine how spectacular that must have been?? When we first met with them to talk about the possibility of shooting their wedding, we were already planning a mini-recreation of that night for their engagement session and that’s what you see here:

We waited until it got dark and set up in the very spot. A little painting with light and viola! I think Dan gets the “Most Romantic Groom” award! :) You guys are so much fun! Talk to you soon…

We spent a lot of time in Wightman Chapel this weekend! Sunday we were back for Brandi and Mike’s wedding. They had both the ceremony and reception there and it was beautiful! It was also so much fun for us because it was an afternoon wedding. We were able to cover the ceremony and reception and then take the couple out on the town for an extended session in downtown Nashville. It set such a nice pace for the day not having to cram in the couple’s photos before rushing to the reception and we had the opportunity to hit multiple locations which made for awesome photographs! Big thanks to Aubrey with Brentwood Limousines for driving us around!

Brandi and Mike, you guys make such a great pair and we’re so excited for you both! Enjoy your honeymoon and we’ll see you soon! :)

Phew! It’s been a crazy weekend! We had weddings on Friday and on Sunday, the first of which was Donna and Glenn’s at Scarritt Bennett and the University Club. They are such rockstars! For their reception and over their fireplace at home, they had a 30×40 metallic print made from their engagement session of them riding a ceramic fish in Centennial Park! hahaha! You guys are crazy! :) They drove away in the way cool vintage Jag from Matchless Limo and we got to play around with it a bit before heading off to the reception:

Congratulations Donna and Glenn! We had a blast at your wedding and your wedding party and families were so great! Can’t wait for you to see your pictures!
