Rachel and Wes’ Wedding was last Saturday and the Belle Meade Plantation.  It was our last really hot August wedding and they were so great about it!  They’re clearly crazy about each other and perfectly suited at that.  Racheal has such a calm, quiet spirit and Wes is one of those people who seems at ease in every situation.  They are a great compliment to each other! 

The plantation is gorgeous and we love photographing somewhere new!  These doors on the side of the house caught our eye and Racheal agreed to climb up in one in her wedding dress – I told you they were great! :)

Congratulations you guys!  We had a blast at your wedding and we’ve been at so many with your group now that you’re all starting to feel like old friends! :)  Thanks for sharing your day with us!

Stephanie and Kyle are getting married in September so we really needed to hurry and get them in for an engagement session! It’s been so long since we saw them and it was great to catch up and spend a little time together! These guys met while they were in law school at Nashville School of Law so we headed back to the scene of the crime for their session. So many hours spent in the library…

I can’t decide which way I like it best. What do you think? Opinions please!

5:30am. Just in case you were wondering what it looks like, this is it! Last Saturday we were in Virginia for Bethany and Larry’s wedding. August heat is sooooo miserable so we all agreed to get up early and do the couple’s photos in the wee hours of the morning. Wow it was early but it was also incredibly pleasant temperature-wise so it was worth it! We shot as the sun rose with the fog all around. Mornings are really quite a beautiful time of day! Maybe we’ll see more of those when we’re older! :)
