A Baby Shower IN the Creek

Last summer I saw these photos of a neighboring town’s creek party pop up on Facebook. There were tables and chairs and loungers, etc. all set up in the creek and I was so taken with the idea that I could hardly stand it.

I NEEDED a creek party in my life.

What better opportunity to make that come to fruition than in celebration of my best friend’s newest little love? Dear friends of ours had the perfect creek for it too, and so plans were set in motion.

I can’t tell you how happy I am with how everything came together. With a lot of help from my amazing fellow hostesses, we pulled it off and it was such a beautiful evening. :)

Fair warning: once you see these photos, you’re going to NEED a creek party in your life too!

Yes. I absolutely did drag an old dresser across town and down to the creek bed. And it was worth it.

I love this little baby sock money tree that Bekah made! I also found these great fans on Amazon because summer and Tennessee.

Jessica made a delicious shortcake bar for guests to enjoy. They were ah-mazing.

Ice cold lemonade and homemade sangria paired nicely.

I just kept taking photos of everything because it was so pretty.

Consequently, you will keep looking at photos of everything because I’m in an oversharing mood today.
