Once upon a little Southern wedding…
This week’s wedding was Stephanie and Andy’s. Their wedding was so beautiful! Everything was centered around an “old south” theme which I absolutely love. From the old quilts, to the vintage get-away truck, right down to the mason jars – every detail was creatively planned out. The day was unseasonably warm and we all felt like we were going to melt but the weather was beautiful so you just can’t complain! Here are some of our favorites from the day:

The girls preparing for the ceremony…

Andy and his mom tearing up on each other. I think he cried from the moment he saw Stephanie until they walked back up the aisle together – it was so sweet! I love it when the groom cries. :)

It was a beautiful ceremony at Holland Park in Dickson, TN

The happy couple!

Sean caught this one of Stephanie’s little brother during the family pictures. Is he cute or what??

I don’t think I can possibly express to you how much I love this truck!

The reception was held at a friends house out in the backyard…

True southern fixins! Bottled Cokes, Moon Pies, Cracker Jacks, and Pink Lemonade. Of course, what true southern experience would be complete without a salute to the home team! :)

Stephanie’s mom and dad. This woman is on the go more than anyone I’ve ever seen in my life!

And away they went…

It was such a beautiful evening! Congratulations to you both! :)

Little Miss Lauren is 18 Month Old!
This is the weekend for babies! This morning Rachel came by with her daughter Lauren and we took her around the neighborhood to play and capture the spirit of an 18 month old. I can’t believe she’s already that big! It seems like no time at all has passed since we drove to Texas for Rachel’s maternity session! Here are a view from our morning together…

And now we’re off to photograph Stephanie and Andy’s wedding! Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend everyone!

Newlyweds – Sara and Adam!
On Saturday we photographed Sara and Adam’s wedding at the Fayetteville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. This poor couple seemed plagued by rain every time we scheduled anything so we were all so happy to see the sun shining on the wedding day! The weather was beautiful! (Until the massive down-pour during the reception that is but hey! – They made it inside before the worst of it! :P) Anyway, it as a beautiful wedding and everyone was such a pleasure to work with. Have you every met someone who just exudes an overwhelmingly sweet spririt? Sara is one of those people – I just love her! And if you could see the way Adam looks at her – it’s just so sweet! We really enjoyed spending the day with them and witnessing their union. :)
Adam and the guys…

Sara and her bridesmaids…

(the second bridesmaid from the left is Bonnie and we’ll be photographing her wedding in September. We’re so excited to spend more time with this family!)
I have a thing for veils lately. :) Sara has the most beautiful eyes!

Adam was sooo relaxed – we were so impressed!

Margie at More Than Flowers did a beautiful job with all of the arrangements

The Newlyweds!

Love this one!

This was such a cool cake by Carla Gault.

Everyone danced the night away to the sound of “Four on the Floor” – They were awesome – by far the best live band we’ve ever heard at an event!

I love the way a couple looks at each other during the first dance. They seem swept away to another world – it’s so beautiful.

Heading off to Puerto Rico! Have fun guys!
