Saturday we went out to photograph the beautiful family below. Mary and Wink are about to be empty nesters so in honor of that, they not only wanted a nice portrait of their family, they’re also throwing a huge Christmas bash and we got to help with the invitations! Check out the last photo to see what I mean – what fun! :)

I hope we’re that cool when our kids are gone! :)

Friday morning we went out to photograph Tony for the Westhaven ad campaign. Tony is a songwriter and one of the nicest men you’ll ever meet! Here are a few possibilities for his feature:

Yesterday we did our first commercial shoot! We were hired on by the marketing and advertising firm Slingshot from Dallas, TX. They are handling the website and marketing for Southern Land’s new development near Dallas called Tucker Hill. The folks from Slingshot flew up here this week so that we could photograph in Westhaven for their Tucker Hill promotional materials. We had a great time with all of them – they were so nice and so great to work with! Thank you Laura, Jeremy and Kevin! You guys were great! And thanks to everyone who came out to model for us too! We had mainly residents and a couple of models to work with and you all did a wonderful job. Thanks for putting up with us! :)

Oh I almost forgot! Lorrie Bradshaw came out and helped with everyone’s hair and makeup. She is an amazing makeup artist so if you’re looking for someone to make you look beautiful for your wedding, look her up! (We’ve got her info if you need it.)
