Barbara is the official flower-lady of our neighborhood. She keeps everything pretty for us around here and is absolutely delightful to boot! :) She’ll be featured in the upcoming Horizons magazine so we took her out for a neighborhood shoot the other day to get images for the article. Below are a few possibilities…

She has what is quite possibly the COOLEST bike in the world!

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all be this natural in front of the camera? We just talked our way through the entire shoot as if Barbara were giving us a tour of the gardening and before we knew it, we were done! Thanks for spending the evening with us Barbara! :)

This is one of my favorite times of year! I love the crisp air and the changing leaves and pulling out sweaters for the winter! I even love that wierd burning smell that happens the first time you turn your heat on. (Ok that’s wierd I know but I do!) As you might imagine, fall is also a busy time for portraits and weddings and this weekend was no exception. Friday evening we did family portraits with our friends Court and Aspen and their daughter Audrey. We’re calling this our warm up since we’ll be going out again when the leaves change but here are a few from Audrey’s practice run. :)

We loved the hat! Did Audrey? Mm – not so much, but she did humor us in small bursts in between ripping it from her head…

She’s such a doll. :)
