Happy October!
This is one of my favorite times of year! I love the crisp air and the changing leaves and pulling out sweaters for the winter! I even love that wierd burning smell that happens the first time you turn your heat on. (Ok that’s wierd I know but I do!) As you might imagine, fall is also a busy time for portraits and weddings and this weekend was no exception. Friday evening we did family portraits with our friends Court and Aspen and their daughter Audrey. We’re calling this our warm up since we’ll be going out again when the leaves change but here are a few from Audrey’s practice run. :)
We loved the hat! Did Audrey? Mm – not so much, but she did humor us in small bursts in between ripping it from her head…

She’s such a doll. :)

Ah dirt – what a treasure!

Now we know where Audrey gets her faces from!

Kisses…

This is how you get a family portrait with someone who is 1 and a half! :)

We also shot Jodi and Matt’s wedding this weekend and Jon and Rachel’s family session so check back soon! Those will all be up in the next few days…
In the meantime, get out and enjoy the weather while it’s so pretty and have a great week!

Ruby and Daisy
Holly asked us to take some portraits of her “daughters” so we met up with them at the old Franklin Country Club on Monday for a session. We’ve not had a ton of experience with pet portraits so it was quite the event! They ran, we ran, Holly tackled – we all wore out eventually. :) I have to say I was starting to wonder if we were getting anything good or not but it all turned out pretty well in the end. Here’s a taste of what we got –

Thanks Holly! Tell the girls they looked fabulous! ;)
