Exciting news!  I’m super proud of Mel right now for her wins at the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International 1st half 8×10 competition. I received four Accolades of Excellence–which were completely crushed–by Mel taking 1st place in the Bride or Groom Alone category.  And as if that wasn’t enough–she also took 1st place in the engagement category. We meant to post something before we headed out, but we ended up having no time to put it together.  So if you’ve called over the past week and are wondering why you haven’t heard back from us… it’s because we’re in Canadaland! 

I made a map that shows where we’ve been so far, and more details about what we’ve been up to are coming soon.  We’ll be heading home at the end of this week and will get back with everybody on Tuesday!

Becca and Mitch have been married for 10 years now and the last time they were photographed together was on their wedding day.  Don’t let this happen to you! :o)  Needless to say, it’s about time these guys were in front of the camera again!  They were so nervous but they did so great!  As you can see, they had nothing to worry about. :o)  Becca and Mitch, thank you so much for letting us record your love and this milestone in your life!
